A month at post

One month at post and I'm still going strong. Well, my stomach is being weird but I'm great. :)

My current projects: money and coffee. I thought I would escape the world of Excel going halfway around the world, but it found me again. I'm working with a microfinance institution in attracting new members and automating everything. Thankfully, I know how to navigate Excel pretty well so even if it's in French I understand. As for the coffee part, that won't happen until December when the current volunteer leaves, but I'm looking forward to it. She's doing a great job with them and I'm eager to start working. We're both tea fanatics so it's difficult to test quality, but I bet I can start enjoying a cup or two every once in a while. :)

Everything else is going great. I know some of you have tried calling but can't get through. Our families are having a very difficult time as well. :(

I hope everyone is doing great. Please write. I'll do my best to get hooked up to high speed internet once a month to reply. Oh, keep the packages coming. A GRAND MERCI to those who have sent their best wishes.

We miss you!!!!

Hey Nadia,

It's Angie, I feel like I have missed out on all the happenings on your volunteer efforts. For awhile there I forgot where I stored your website, so I wasn't able to get the 411 on my Peace Corp Heroes, Nadia & Tristan. You guys seem to really be making some progress on accomplishing your goals at lightning fast speed. Stay safe and keep up the good work. Before you know it your 2 years will be up and you won't want to come home. :o)

Happy Birthday, Nadia! Hope you and Tristan are doing well out there! I need to confirm your email address and mailing address so I can send you a care package. I'm sure someone can help me out with getting your address :) Take care!

Naughty Nadia,
How are you?? Are the two years up yet??? :( Hurry back because I miss ya! Glad to hear you are doing well and getting settled. Been catching up on the blogs and it's good to see you acclimating some. I just got back to work myself. Mostly doing travel with work (DC/New Orleans -yea poor me), but also because I had knee surgery Oct 3rd. Still recovering but doing well. Have some shoes that I'm saving for you and clothes so hurry back!!!
Miss you. Say hello to Tristan and your brother when you write him.

Hi Nadia,

There will be something winging it's way to you and Tristan shortly. Really admiring your 'gung ho' spirit and getting stuck in - it's inspiring :) (but I'm not that brave just yet;) ). We talk about you and Tristan *A LOT* definitely not out of sight out of mind!!! take care of each other. Lynne & Garry (en angleterre)
